How can we help humanitarian aid workers efficiently find the information they need during crisis response?
We worked with Sphere, an international humanitarian organization. Their minimum standards handbook is an essential part to humanitarian work and training. We design a web app to be used in-field during crisis response for users to collect the handbook information they need in a quick and efficient manner.

Our Process
We first acquainted ourselves with the daily lives of humanitarians through research and interviews. We then sent out a survey to the Sphere humanitarian network to investigate their needs in a digital product.
We created and tested a paper prototype on our web app concept.
Next, we prototyped and tested a digital B&W wireframe version of the concept.
We created the final visual design based on the Sphere brand colors.
This project was completed by an international team of 4 designers and researchers as part of the Master's in Digital Design at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
